WILLIAM D. "DANNY"
HOUGH, 64

LAKELAND - William D. "Danny" Hough, 64, died June 10, 2011 at his home after a short battle with cancer.
He was born September 19, 1946 in Waynesville, NC and moved to Lakeland from Tampa 46 years ago. Mr. Hough retired as an engineer with the Lakeland Fire Department after 30 years of service to the community and recently retired again from Carpenters Estates.
Mr. Hough was preceded in death by his son William "Joey" Hough. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Linda of Lakeland, son Matthew Allen Hough (Sarena) of Lakeland, sister Nancy Hernandez of Brandon and brother R. E. Hough of Lakeland. Also surviving are grandchildren D. J. Hough Bombinski, Ryan Christopher Hough and Kelcee Jo Hough.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 PM to 7 PM with services to follow at 7 PM in the chapel of Lakeland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear the news. You and Matthew are in my heart and prayers. Danny will always be, to me, my brother-in-law. Last time we saw each other was at CHE, and I got a big hug. I will value that hug the rest of my life. God bless you during this difficult time. He was a great guy.
