Yvonne and girls,
It's hard to a believe Sherman has left this world and is now with our heavenly father. We always knew of his love for each of you. Yvonne you raised him so well. He always had a smile and cared for others--just like you. Your strength and peace at this very difficult time is amazing. I wish I was closer so I could give you a hug. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

Shermie, lol, that's what I called him. I always knew when he was at work, I could hear him laughing in the background. I guess we were the fortunate, us at work, to spend his last days here on this earth with him. The sweetest person ever! RIP Shermie. I pray the Lord will comfort every friend and family member in a special way. In God's Love.

I have thought about Sherman many times over the years. Hard to believe it has been that long since we saw each other. He could make you laugh regardless of how your day was going. We had a lot of fun in Mrs. Wilsons english class. Rest in peace my friend and may GOD bless your family in this sad time.

This is in remeberance of my good friend Sherman Moody he was an awesome person and friend. I have MANY good memories with him to many too list so I will say this. When ever I was around him we were always laughing, he had a smile that was as big as the room he was in. If you knew him you loved him if you didn't you wanted to. He was one of the boys! He was a friend to us all and he always had your back. I never heard him talk trash about anyone and he was always in a good mood. As I have grown older I have realized just what an incredible person he was, he showed everyone of us how to live WITHOUT prejudice. He showed us that you make friends based on the kind of person you were NOT what color. He was an example that everyone should follow. I cant express enough how sad I am or blessed I feel to be able to call him my friend. He was one of a kind! and that is how I remember my friend Sherman Moody. God Bless and God Speed my thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.
