STUDER, 60

LAKE WALES - Mrs. Beverly J. Studer, 60, of Lake Wales, Florida died on Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Tampa General Hospital of multisystem failure.
She was born on June 26, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Button and Alma Sell Hitchcock and moved to Lake Wales fourteen years ago from Brooklyn, Michigan. She was a graduate of Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She was the lead teacher at Our Children's Academy in Lake Wales and formerly taught at Garden Grove Elementary School. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, William H. Studer; brothers, Tim Hitchcock of Indianapolis, Indiana and Todd Hitchcock of Shelby Township, Michigan; her sister, Barbara Hitchcock of Lake Wales; six stepchildren, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Williams officiating.
Bev was in charge of the Adopt a Family at Christmas Program at Our Children's Academy 555 Burns Avenue, Lake Wales, FL 33853. Her family requests memorials be given to this program, in her remembrance.

I can't believe my sweet friend has been gone 10 years! I think of her so often, and with great fondness, Bev was a truly gifted, loving, caring and dear friend. Miss her every day.

Bev was one of my dearest friends and I think of her so many times, miss her and remember such fond times together. Bev had such a great sense of humor, loved just doing things, crazy things, silly things and especially very sweet things. I treasure our time as friends and miss her to this day. I love you Bev!

Bev was a dear and wonderful friend, and will be so very missed by all who knew her. She had such a wonderful zest for life and a great sense of humor. My prayers go out to Bill and the family. Bev was a true gift to all of us.
