Self Employed

LAKELAND - Elena Bousquet Galbis, 65, died Oct. 5, 2012 at LRMC due to heart failure.
She was self employed in medical Insurance billing and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A fervent Catholic, she graduated from The Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, LA. She was
a member of the Ethics
Committee at Lakeland
Regional Medical Center
and a board member of
St. Martin DePorres. She
will be missed by all the
community, both Anglo
and Hispanic, that she
served selflessly all these 40 years in Lakeland.
Mrs. Galbis was preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Galbis and is survived by her loving children, daughter
Anamaria (Ramiro Gall-egos) Galbis-Gallegos, son Ricardo (Katya M.) Galbis; mother Elena Alfonso Bousquet; grandchildren Isabella and
Sofia Galbis, Sergio E. and Elena Gallegos; sister Lourdes Bousquet; brothers Eduardo, Alberto and Jorge Bousquet; sister in law Maria E. Zas and
all her nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 10:30 am with a visitation 1 hour prior to
the service at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: Academy of the Sacred Heart, Grand Coteau, LA.
