ELMER T. "TOMMY" FLETCHER, 74

AUBURNDALE - Elmer T. "Tommy" Fletcher, 74, passed away Apr. 18, 2013 from respiratory failure.
Tommy was born in Lakeland, FL on Apr. 2, 1939. He worked as a master plumber in Boston and Houston before returning to his hometown. Tommy was a member of Dixie Highway Baptist Church and was active for many years in the seventies as "Coach Fletcher," for Auburndale Little League. In addition to volunteering his time, he enjoyed fishing and camping in the
outdoors.
Tommy was preceded in death by his son, Dale Dias; and numerous siblings. He is survived by his wife, Sue Fletcher of Auburndale; sons, Alan (Naomi) Dias and Randy Dias, both of Houston, TX; daughter, Sheila Fletcher of Bryan, TX; brother, Carl Fletcher; sister, Hazel Bond, both of Lakeland; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today, April 20th from 1-2 p.m. at Gentry Morrison
Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd., Lakeland. Services will follow at 2
p.m. at the funeral home.
