I still think of Charlie (And Sally). Hope the kids are all well. Retired 2011 from the hospital after 50 years. Was wonderful having Charlie as our first chaplain. A very important role of God's support. Julie Gates

Miss him still. Thank you, Lee, for allowing Tristan to wear your father's robe in the play. He loved it! I feel sure your father was pleased. All the best on this sad anniversary to dear Lee, Lynda, Becky and their families.

I am so sorry to read of Charlie's passing . He was my friend for many years and We had many laughs together . I worked with IBM and took calls at the Hospital and we always took a coke break together when I was i nthe hospital . Through the years I tried to keep in touch and sad to say I had not called Him recently . But I know He in a much better place now . And He would not want US to be Sad !

My prayers are with the family as you go through the next couple of days. Charlie brought much comfort and wisdom to the patients and staff at LRMC. My most precious memories are of this past year as he shared the same table with my dad at Grace Manor. He was so kind and so funny. I will miss him but I know he is with his Lord and we will see him again.

Chaplain was my buddy. I worked with Sally, Charlie helped me when I was going through my separation and divorce and Sally was going through her illness. Feel like I almost worked with the whole family. He was a good man, a forerunner of our chaplain program at the hospital. Agreed-well done. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you.

A fine man with a wonderful family. He served his God, his country, his community, and his family and friends well. Surely he has heard, "Well done, good and faithful servant" and is even now enjoying the rewards of such service.
