NINA NAAB Obituary
Retired Inspector
LAKE ALFRED - Nina Catherine Naab, 92, of Lake Alfred passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014 ay Astoria Health and Rehab in Winter Haven.
Born March 8, 1921 in Harrisburg, IL she moved here in 1983 from Hobart, IN. She was retired as an inspector from Anderson & Co in Gary, IN and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. She was also a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 314 in Hobart, IN for over 55 years.
She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Howard Ruckman; second husband, Warren Naab in 2005; 3 brothers, J.W. Norman, Clayborn Dale Norman and Jack G. Norman; and a sister Elsie Rose Land.
She is survived by: a sister, Geneva Nash of Lake Alfred, FL; a step-son, Russell Naab and his wife , Susan; and a step-daughter, Nancy Weeder.
Services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, February 3, 2014 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to hospice or Awalim Court #9, 6498 Monument Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
