LAKELAND - Mrs. Wilma J. Brown, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on March 31, 1934. Wilma was a faithful member of Edgewood Church of Christ. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Wil-ma was also an avid Gator fan. She worked with her family at their business, Fabri-Tech, Inc.
Wilma was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Brown; parents, Wilburn and Fannie Johnson; sister, Louise Camp. She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, William D. 'Bill' Brown; daughter, Joy Brown (Buz) Fowler; sons, Steve and Marty Brown; brothers, Tommy (Jeanette) Johnson, Allen (Lottie) Johnson, and Buddy (Hildreth) Johnson; sisters, Faye (Julian) Broxton and Vera (Elton) Childs; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nie-ces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4, 2015, 9:00-10:00am at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Rd. Funeral services will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park. Condolences to the family may offered at gentry-morrison.com .

To Bill, Joy and the family of Wilma Brown,
Please accept our heartfelt love and condolences.
Wilma was a kind,loving and genuine person, but most of all she was a Godly woman. She was the prime example of what a Chistian should be and we were all blessed to have known her.
Please take comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of Jesus and there are many prayers on your behalf for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
