Of Foresthill, Calif., loving wife and mother, died suddenly on June 13 surrounded by loved ones.
Born on Feb. 6, 1966, to proud parents Michael Lambert Stahler and Jane Diane Stahler, Stephanie was raised in Niles, Ca. along with younger sisters Rachel and Arinn.
Stephanie attended Butte College where she earned her Associates Degree, later continuing her studies at Chico State University, affording her the luxury of staying close to her high school sweetheart, Charles Edward Pierce III.
Soon Stephanie and Charlie were living together, and in their tiny apartment in Union City, Ca., Charlie got down on one knee and proposed. They were married on August 31, 1991 at Niles Congregational Church, and their new family began.
Stephanie and Charlie's love was a True Love. So rare in life to find, and too often unspoken. It goes beyond any boundarie deep in their hearts and souls, to the core of their being. Nothing will ever change that.
The couple moved to Livermore where Stephanie managed the J.C.C. where the business skills she developed there, she later applied to her ownership and management of the Sea Otter Swim Lessons in Loomis, Ca.
Soon their beautiful baby girl, Hannah Arinn was born, and five years later, sweet baby boy Charles Edward IV(Chase) joined the fold.
In the summer of 2001, they decided to leave the city life behind and move to Foresthill, Ca., where Stephanie spent her time tending her roses, despite the challenges the deer presented, reading, cooking for her family, and decorating (shopping!). She had a passion for travel and new experiences, but her real dedication was to being the ultimate volleyball/soccer Mom.
What we most remember about Stephanie is her fierce love of Life, her quick, true and hilarious wit, her ability to inject joy and laughter at a level so constant, it amazed us all. But, above all, it was her unwavering love and adoration of her two children, Hannah & Chase, that defined who she was the most. As much a friend as a mother, she was so in love with them, and will forever be. Generous. Compassionate. Real. Courageous. Grateful. Funny. Passionate. Beautiful. To master all of those things in such a short life; how truly, how permanently touched we all are to have known the grace of her life.
Stephanie is survived by husband Charles Edward Pierce III , children Hannah Arinn and Chase Edward. Mother Jane Stahler. Father Michael Stahler, wife Patricia. Sister Rachel Stahler, wife Kate Luman. Sister Arinn Barrieau, husband Michael, children Luke and Gretta. Mother in law Katherine Pierce, husband Colin Philleps.
