KENNETH F. BURFORD(1932 - 2013)

KENNETH F. BURFORD McALLEN - Attorney CPA Kenneth F. Burford went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2013. He was born on December 12, 1932. He lived in the valley for over 35 years. He received an accounting degree from the University of Mississippi and later became a CPA. Mr. Burford also received a Juris of Doctorate Law degree and practiced over 35 years in Texas. He was a former adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Pan American. He was a part of numerous associations including the State Bar of Texas, Texas Society of CPA's, Republican Delegate, and was appointed by former President Ronald Reagan to be an advocate for accounting and was invited to the white house. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger W. and Christine Burford; brother, Roger Burford; and a grand-daughter, Jennie Brandon. He is survived by his wife, Anna I. Burford; sister, Geraldine Price; children, Angela M. (Philip) Ferreri, Mark I. Ibanez, Kenneth A. Burford, Martha Brandon, and Debrah Cherry; grandchildren, Philip K. Ferreri, Brett Burford, James Burford, Christopher J. Cherry, Andrea L. Cherry, and T.J. Brandon; niece, Christina (Jeremy) Holden and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
