ROGER LEE MANN

ROGER LEE MANN Roger Lee Mann joined his Lord April 30, 2013. Born in Paris, TX on December 26, 1933, Roger lived most of his lice in San Juan, TX. He was involved in the pest control business for almost 50 years. He enjoyed playing guitar, volunteering for the San Juan Fire Department, and became an active member of the San Juan Lions Club for the past 30 years. He composed a theme song that was accepted by the Lion Club District and worked on collecting eye glasses for the "Sight" project; as well as holding a board position. He was a veteran of the armed forces (Navy) during the Korean War; Roger was an active and proud member of the San Juan Fire Department for more than 30 years for which he also served as Chaplin. His wife Maxine (Wyres) Mann preceded his death by many years. He will b e lovingly missed by his family and friends, Gloria Espinosa, life companion of many years; brothers, Travis Mann, Charlie Mann, Clifford Mann, Gerald Mann and Leroy Mann; sons, Joe and Leon Mann; daughters, Iona Klein and Wanda Moran; grandsons, Roger Lee Mann II, Matthew Leon Man, Donnie and Len Powell; and granddaughter, Brittney Lynn Mann. Extended family who lovingly referred to him as "Grandpa", Raymond, BuBu, Felix, Lori, Josh, Alex, Tony, Edgar, Stephaney, Leanna, Mel, Isabel, Jr., Itze and Idamari. A celebration of his life is being conducted by the San Juan Fire Department; everyone is invited to share with family and friends on Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Amigos Del Valle, located at 600 W. 1st St., San Juan, TX.
