Rigoberto Ordaz Obituary
Rigo is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Delfina G. Ordaz; sisters, Raquel O. Vargas, Rebeca O. Laredo, and Rosalinda O. Hernandez.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Hilda E. Ordaz; daughter, Christina Ordaz Dominguez; grandchildren, Abigail Y. Dominguez, Adrian J. Dominguez. He is also survived by his siblings, Maria Rene O. Cortez, Ricardo Ordaz, Rodolfo Ordaz, Rosa Maria O. Garcia, Rosa Elia O. Chacon.
Viewing will be from 1 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission. Burial will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.

I was shocked, to say the least, when I heard the news about Rigo's passing; it was so unexpected. My deepest sympathy to the Ordaz family for their profound loss. Rigo and his sister, Rosalinda, were classmates of mine at Valley Baptist Academy. We were a family then and we always will be family. I loved both of them. I join you in your grief and pray that the Lord will embrace you with His comfort and peace during this very difficult time. God bless all of you.

Para la Familia Ordaz: Nuestro mas sincero pesame para la familia de Rigoberto Ordaz. Rigoberto, fue companero de estudios en la Academia del 1962 hasta 1964. Nos graduamos juntos en el grupo de 18 estudiantes que recibio diplomas. Que Dios Todopoderoso derrame sus mas ricas bendiciones en estos momentos tan dificiles para la familia Ordaz. Hoy Rico es miembro del coro celestial.
