CARLOS RODRIGUEZ JR. Carlos Rodriguez Jr. 75, of Weslaco Texas beloved husband and best friend of Elma (Garcia) Rodriguez for 48 years, and father of 5 passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on March 25, 2013. He was predeceased in death by his parents Carlos and Hortencia Rodriguez Sr. and his Sister Sylvia Rodriguez-Longoria. Carlos was born in Weslaco and spent most of his life in South Texas. He proudly served in the United States Air Force spending most of his time in Germany and Korea. Carlos and Elma were the proud founders of South Texas Vo-Tech in South Texas until he retired in 2007 to enjoy his time and life with his beautiful wife Elma. Besides his wife Elma, Carlos is survived by his five daughters, Sylvia Ann Cardenas (Miguel Cardenas), Sandra Lynn May, Rosanna Rodriguez-Ferguson (Steven Ferguson), Carla Yvonne Kucia (Philip Kucia) and Laura Liza Trevino (Mario Trevino); ten grand children, Kristopher Ryan Rodriguez, Carlos Garza, Victoria Ann Cardenas, Rebecca Jean Ferguson, Lukas Miguel Cardenas, Steven Eric Ferguson, Taylor Ray Kucia, Trevor Timothy Kucia, Aiden D'Marco Trevino and Luke Tyler Trevino; six brothers and sisters, Lydia Chavana, Rolando Rodriguez, Teresa Bagley, Enrique Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez and Lupita Blasienz as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of the Tombal Regional Medical Center. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care over the last 2 days were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and the blessing of the time we spent with him. A service will be held at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, TX on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00pm, and a separate service will be held in his home town of Weslaco, Texas on or around the 12th of April in his honor.
