JOHN WILLIAM TRIMBLE JR. McAllen - John William Trimble, Jr. was born in Wellington, TX, October 12, 1930. He departed this life Thursday, May 16, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Trimble, Sr., his mother Rosa Bishop Trimble, two brothers and three sisters. John is survived by Fae Trimble to whom he was married for 47 years, one son, Kevin, one daughter in-law, Janet, one daughter Kelli Trimble Gardner, and one son-in-law, Peter Gardner. He also leaves three granddaughters: Kristina Trimble, Kathryn Gardner and Aubrey Gardner. Several nieces and nephews also survive. John joined the Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He managed the Mc Clellan store in downtown McAllen from 1966 until his retirement in 1992. Away from work he enjoyed League Bowling. He was dedicated to working with Boy Scouts of America, Troop 7. John was a life member of the McAllen Noon Lion's club. After retirement he volunteered much of his time to St. Mark UMC. Donations may be given in John's memory to St. Mark United Methodist Church, or to The Comfort House, both in McAllen, TX. Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 2013 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Kreidler Funeral Home. The service of Christian burial will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at St. Mark UMC, 301 West Pecan Avenue, McAllen, TX.
