To the Cano Family,

Both Mr. Cano and Mrs. Cano have deeply touched the lives of both my children, especially my son Eric. Mr. Cano always called him "El Capitan" whenever he saw him and showed him so much affection. I am honored to say that he watched both my children grow up. These memories are not only comforting but are also special to me and my children.

Mr. Cano never left my father's side and was always such a great friend and a person that he could always count on. I know my father misses him deeply and misses his side kick for morning coffee.

To the family, both Severo and Socorro are so very special to us and we have only wonderful things to say about both of them. They were and still are like family to all of us.

Mr. Cano will truly be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

May God continue to bless all of you and may you find comfort in the memories you have.

To the Cano Family,

I am so sorry for my uncle's passing. As you all know my family has endured so much these past two years with the unexpected passing of my beloved sister, Lydia on November 26, 2006 and my dear mother's unexpected quick death on April 23 of this year.

It is due to this that I was not able to be there physically at the funeral today. It is still too hard for me to cope with my losses and now my dear uncle "Tio Cano".

It hurts me deeply and just know that I am with you in spirit. If there is anything you need for me to do for your family, please do not hesitate to contact me, for that is the least I can do for My Uncle as he did so much for my daddy.

God Bless You and all of your families.

Your Niece & Cousin,

Rachel Cano-Ruiz
