1932 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
MARY FRANCES PIKE HILTON ALAMO - Mary Frances Pike Hilton, wife of the late Roy Charles Hilton, was lovingly escorted into heaven on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Mary Hilton was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 29, 1932, and born again by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ on March 8, 1942. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord as wife and mother; pastor's wife; and later, a missionary to Mexico with her family. Her one great desire was to pour out love on her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her husband and children, and all the people she knew. It can be truly said of her that, in spite of her many faults and failures, and above all other successes, she loved. Mary Hilton is survived by her brother Wentworth Edwin Pike, Jr., of Canada; her daughter, Helen Frances Hilton, of Texas; her three sons, Roy Charles Hilton, Jr., of Arkansas, Daniel Wentworth Hilton, Sr., of Texas, and John Keller Hilton, of Arizona; 11 grandchildren-Chad, James, Justin, and Seth; Danny, Becky, Joshua, and Jeremy; and Jonathan, Nathan, and Anthony-and five great-grandchildren-Nehemiah, Jadon, Bella, Malachi and Liam. A funeral service will be held at The Church at Bethany, 1520 S. Alamo Road, Alamo, Texas, at 2:00 p.m., today, Friday, March 14, 2014. Following the service, her body will be laid to rest beside her husband in San Juan Cemetery, San Juan, Texas. She, now absent from the body and present with the Lord, joyfully awaits a heavenly reunion with the Christian friends and family she left behind. Services are entrusted to Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Pharr. Sign the guest book at www.themonitor.com/obituaries
