SIXTA VALADEZ Obituary
SIXTA VALADEZ HOUSTON - Sixta Valadez, 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 14, 2014 at her residence in Houston. She was born in Mission, Texas on April 6, 1954 and is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Barajas and Maria Luisa De La Luna; three brothers, Simon Barajas, Anastacio Barajas, Jose Barajas Jr., and one sister, Nasaria "Challa" B. McManamie. Mrs. Valadez is survived by her husband, Miguel Valadez; and her children, Hector Barajas, Vanessa Valadez, Miguel Valadez Jr., Daniel Valadez, Julianna Valadez, and Fabian Adolfo Valadez. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; one brother, Juan N. Barajas and four sisters, Guadalupe B. Salinas, Hilaria B. Rocha, Teodola B. Cerda, and Geronima B. Noyola. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Flores Funeral Home in Mission. Chapel service will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Flores Chapel A in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Abram.
