Obituary Condolences

LYDIA CELIA LIMAS McALLEN - Lydia Celia Limas, 70, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Comfort House. Born in McAllen, Mrs. Limas was a homemaker who married the love of her life and surviving spouse, Eusebio Limas. She is survived by her adoring children which include three sons; Juan Alberto (Melissa) Limas of Edinburg; Ricardo (Marta) Limas and Eusebio Limas, Jr. all of Harlingen; two daughters Sylvia Alicia (Robert Arthur) Mosqueda, and Norma Lynda (Michael Anthony) Cavazos all of McAllen; two brothers Raul and Joel Cortez both of Bakersfield, California; three sisters Maria Trinidad Carrillo of McAllen; Rosa Salinas and Aurora Chapa both of Delano, California; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Limas is preceded in death by her parents Trinidad R. Cortez and Concepcion Martinez and a brother Hector Cortez. Visitations will begin today, Sunday April 27, 2014 beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary being recited at Ceballos Funeral Home of McAllen. A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of McAllen. Burial will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements and services were entrusted to the care of Ceballos Funeral Home of McAllen.
