MARY FROMLATH Obituary
MARY FROMLATH Mary Fromlath, age 91, was greeted by her husband, the late Bernard "Slats" Fromlath and family in Heaven early Thursday morning, July 3, 2014. She was the mother of Gary Fromlath and wife Ginny of Alamo, Texas and Peggy Davis and the late Tom Edd Davis of Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was a longtime resident of Donna, Texas. Mary made New Mexico her new home October 31, 2001. She enjoyed helping her daughter and son-in-law at their business, The Blue Stone. She worked for many years for Groce Weadern Co. and Rogers & Sons. She loved her job with computers and had a good understanding of their technology. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church in Donna and Gateway Baptist Church in Alamogordo. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and served for many years. She was a member of DAR and the Kiwanis Club of Alamogordo. She is survived by her son Gary (Ginny) Fromlath; daughter, Peggy Davis; brother, John Palko; sister, Orfa Akerman; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Palko; and many nieces and nephews. She was Grandma to Terry Davis (Cyrene), Dr. Steve Davis, Kelly Davis, and Lisa Davis Wright (Zachary). She loved being GG to Krystal (Dan), Brandon, Matthew, Michael, Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Emmaleigh. She was best friends with Tom Edd's sister Mary Lou Lee and her family. Mary loved birds, sewing, cooking, and was famous for her cinnamon rolls, homemade rolls, and divinity. If there is a kitchen in heaven, you can bet she will be in it cooking up a storm! She always enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. The family will have a graveside service and burial at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N. Taylor Rd., Mission, Texas on Thursday, July 10th at 3pm. Friends and family are invited to attend the service. A celebration of her life will be held in Alamogordo at the Gateway Baptist Church; 980 W. Hwy.70 on Sunday, July 27th at 3pm. kreidlerfuneralhome.com Sign the guest book at www.themonitor.com/obituaries
