YOLANDA "YOLI" LEAL|
Mission - Yolanda "Yoli" Leal, 55, born November 24, 1953 in McAllen, passed away October 19, 2009 at her residence in Mission.
She is preceded in death by her father Carlos G. Leal Sr.
Yolanda is survived by her mother Maria Hilda Cantu Leal of Mission, brother Carlos G. (Kristi) Leal Jr. of Mission, sister Cynthia (Reymundo) Rodriguez of Palmview; nieces and nephews Jessica Brooke (Will) Collins of San Antonio, Ashley Nicole Leal of San Antonio, Carlos G. Leal III of San Antonio, Isaac Noel Rodriguez of Palmview, Audrey Elise Rodriguez of College Station; great niece Sierra Kristi Collins, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her extended family at The Club at Cimarron.
Yolanda was a graduate of Mission High School of 1973, attended Pan American University and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a lifetime resident of Mission, a Real Estate Developer, worked at The Tower Club, and in the accounting department for 20 years at The Club at Cimarron. She was a wonderful aunt and treated all her nieces and nephews as her own. She was always willing to volunteer time for numerous organizations. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and loved spending time outdoors with her friends. Yoli will be dearly missed and loved by her family.
Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary service at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held tomorrow, Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.
