Obituary Condolences

Edinburg - Eloy Garcia went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday January 20, 2010 at Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ana Minerva Sandoval Garcia.
He served his country as a solder in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 20-plus years of teaching with the P.S.J.A. School District.
He is survived by his sons; Eloy (Martha) Garcia Jr., Eric (Delma) Garcia, Edgar (Gaby) Garcia, His daughters; Sylvia (William) Ficker, Delia (Carl) Solis, Diana (George) Villarreal, his brothers; Ramiro Garcia, Armando Garcia, his grandchildren; Carl Solis Jr, Cybia (Justin) Copley, Christopher Solis, Dominic Solis, Eloy Felix Garcia, Juan Alexandro Garcia, David H. Sosa Jr, Krysteen M. Villarreal, George V. Villarreal, Eric Michael Garcia, Shania Garcia, Paul Hernandez, and his great granddaughter, Aislynn M. Copley.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, January 22, 2010 with a 7 p.m. Rosary at De Leon Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen, burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
