ABEL BORREGO Obituary
EDINBURG - Abel Borrego, 32, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. Borrego had lived in San Juan most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alberto Borrego Jr. and a sister, Monica Borrego.
Mr. Borrego is survived by his wife, Katrina Aguirre Borrego; a daughter, Cheyenne I. Borrego both of San Juan; his mother, Oralia Serna; a sister, Maribel Borrego both of Edinburg; a brother, Alberto Borrego III of Mission; two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. memorial service today, May 7, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.

You were a wonderful person, friend and brother. I will miss and love you. You will always have a place in my heart and in my thoughts it was to soon for you leave us but i know abel that you are in a better place with dad (alberto) and sis (monica).

You were my best friend, my husband, and an amazing father to our beautiful daughter. I will miss the long talks that we would have & the times we spent together just doing the simplest of things, such as watching tv. But what I will miss the most is having you around to watch our baby grow up. Even though you won't be around here on earth, You will always be around in our hearts. We will always love u Dad!!
