PAUL MILLER Obituary

PAUL ROBERT MILLER McALLEN - Paul Robert Miller, age 53, of McAllen (formerly of Edinburg), passed away of natural causes on June 12, 2015. He was born in Edinburg on April 24, 1962 after his family had moved from Minnesota to the Rio Grande Valley. Paul attended Edinburg High School, and except for a few years living in Provo, Utah and Austin, TX, Paul lived his life in the Rio Grande Valley. He was a talented photographer, an accomplished graphic designer, an avid cyclist, loved music and in his later years was active in the Sons of the American Legion. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. (Bob) Miller and his mother, Collette F. (Miller) Lemley, grandparents, Hattie and Oscar Miller and grandfather Arne Paulson. He is survived by his grandmother, Vivian Paulson, brothers, Jerry Miller of Austin and Brian Miller of Houston, sister, Pamela (Miller) Painschab of Yakima, Washington, nieces Samantha Miller and Victoria Miller, nephews Anthony Miller and Brandon Painschab, aunts Judy Seitz and Elaine Miller, step-brothers John Lemley and David Lemley and step-sisters Donna Beaver and Judy Glendenning. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Hillcrest Memorial Park (1701 E. Richardson Road) in Edinburg In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Non-Pareil Institute (www.npitx.org/city/houston.aspx), a non-profit corporation creating opportunity and employment for adults on the Autism spectrum.
