MARTIN, RICHARD “Rick” DOYLE; age 54, of Farwell, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Funeral Services for Rick will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. with Stake President Derrek Henrie presiding and Steve Harrast, 2nd Counselor in the Bishopric, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Rick was born on October 6, 1959, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Thomas and Donna True (Garretson) Martin. He married Lori Frodsham on July 20, 2007, in Layton, Utah. Rick was very talented and enjoyed woodworking. He was a doomsday prepper. He was a great father who was wonderful with kids. He will be remembered for his fun-loving sense of humor. Rick is survived by his children, Jarom Martin of Provo, Utah; Koryn Martin of Charlevoix, Michigan; Kyle Martin of Atlanta, Georgia; and Alexia (James) Morris of Roy, Utah; mother, Donna Martin of Rosebush; one grandchild, Maira-Ann Morris; brothers, Randall R. (Jane) Martin of Mt. Pleasant; the Rev. T. Ried (Karen) Martin of Crystal; and Ronald G. (Gloria) Martin of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Renae Lynn (Joseph) Crawford of Rosebush; Aunts, Gerry Barnes of Mansfield, Texas and Shirley Decker of Mt. Pleasant. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Tom Martin; his in-laws, Roy and Diane Frodsham; and his brother-in-law, David Frodsham.
