Boroughf, David* - Wheeler  
Boroughf, David; age 79; of Wheeler; passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at home with family by his side. David was born July 9, 1935 in Wheeler, the son of Johnnie and Flossie (Little) Boroughf. He married Mary Lou Cramer. David worked for General Motors in their maintenance department. David was a member of the Moose Lodge in St. Louis and the Eagles in Saginaw. He enjoyed hunting, playing euchre and going north to the family cabin. He is survived by his son, Rodger Boroughf; grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Nicholas, Joseph; and many great grandchildren; also a brother, Ken Boroughf. David was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Carol Boroughf; and brother, Gerald Boroughf. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Breckenridge/Wheeler Rescue Squad. Bond, Ruth E.* - Sumner  
Bond, Ruth E.; age 91; of Sumner; went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Laurels of Fulton. She was born June 3, 1923 in Alma the daughter of Olen and Ethel (VanAlstine) Ferris. She was a 1942 graduate of Alma High School and on January 26, 1946 she married Arthur W. Bond.Ruth was a proud mother who took great pride in caring for her family and home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, polishing floors, washing windows and truly enjoyed a good water fight. Ruth was a devoted and faithful member of East Superior Christian Church in Alma and thought of each church member as a part of her extended family.Ruth is survived by three sons, Lawrence (Sally) Bond of Elwell, David (Effie) Bond of Dimondale, James (Brenda) Bond of Dimondale; three daughters, Franchieu (Craig) Lawson of Grand Ledge, Clara (Louis) Polash of Ashley, Melissa Britting of Alma; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur in 1990; and a brother, Larry Ferris. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home with Pastor William Horton officiating. Interment will follow in Sumner Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to East Superior Christian Church or Church of Christ of Grand Ledge.
