Pleasant; 14 grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Robinson, Rachael, Austin, Kyle, Zachary, Audrey and Molly Schnitker, BethAnn and Amber Morgan, Joshua, David and Elijah Wolf and Justin Campbell; 3 siblings, Kathryn (Lezan) Haynes and husband, Leo of Mt. Pleasant; Nick Lezan and wife, Penny of Saginaw and Michael Lezan and wife, Shirley of Lansing.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald William (Bill) in August 2013; her parents, Nick and Stella (Poplik) Lezan, and brother, Richard Lezan of Mt. Pleasant.
With Ann's devotion and sacrifice, she chose to serve her family as a homemaker. She had a warmth and compassion for people she knew and even extended to those whom she newly met. Her smile and laughter brought a light to those around her. Ann was known for her hospitality, whether cooking or baking for family and friends, and welcoming extra company for holidays, which in Michigan includes deer hunting season. She desired to make events "special" from Sunday dinners' to large celebrations. Her love of children was evident by the time and energy she invested while raising 4 daughters, whom learned lessons of love, honesty and of course the art of cooking. She was creative in many areas. Crocheting blankets was a great joy for her and she loved making them for her family and friends. Her skills of cooking and serving were a blessing to the Isabella Soup Kitchen. There she thrived on serving and blessing countless others in our community.
With Ann's servant heart, the family is requesting donations to Great Lakes Caring Hospice or Isabella Soup Kitchen in her remembrance. We believe this would honor her life as others were continued to be served.
Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home, church, or online
