Warner, Richard Lee; age 65; of Remus; passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at his home due to cancer. Dick was born in Lakeview on November 10, 1948. He was raised in the Remus area and lived there for most of his life. He worked at Evart Products for 30 years, Tractor Supply and for Wheatland Township. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and traveling. Dick is survived in death by his wife, Lois Warner three sons: Mike and Penny (Buckley) Warner, Paul Warner and Barbara Aultman, Chad and Kim (Root) Warner mother, Opal Warner Smith brother, Lyle Jr (Sonney) and Judy Warner; two sisters, Lou Ann Moore, Kaye and Jim Peasley. Additionally, there are several sisters and brothers-in-laws,; nieces and nephews. Dick’s greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren: Reanna (Warner) and Nate Dawson, Zack Bowen, Joshua, Ariel, Gracie, Sarah, Alyssa, Ashlynn, Chelsea, Nicole, Riley including two great grandsons, Kohen and Soren Dawson. Dick was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Warner Sr. brother, Michael Warner father-in-law, Lawrence Whiting and niece, Cristy Whiting. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Dick will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Mecosta VFW
Hall beginning at 12 Noon followed by an open house luncheon until 4 p.m.
