Ronald Aaron Mullet, 66, of Lake, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at his home.
Funeral Services for Ronald will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Andrew Apps of the Farwell Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Ronald was born on January 10, 1947, in Reed City, the son of Wilfred and Gloria W. (Lennox) Mullet. He graduated in the Class of 1965 from Mt. Pleasant High School. Ronald served in the
United States Navy
. He married Mary Jane Ingram on February 14, 1998. Ronald was a boilermaker with Local #169 out of Dearborn for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. He had previously worked for Oldsmobile. Ronald was a member of Boilermakers Union Local #169. He enjoyed all sports but especially golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Ronald is survived by his spouse, Mary Jane Mullet; his children, Dawn MacLean of Mt. Pleasant, Tammie (Aaron) Hill of Indianapolis, IN, Leanna (Jason) Sysak of Dowagiac, David (Shari) Cashen of WY, Daniel (Regina) Cashen of Baker City, OR, Douglas Cashen, Donald (Maggie) Cashen of Mt. Pleasant, Keith Cashen of Mt. Pleasant and Gordon Cashen of Escanaba; 22 grandchildren; and his mother, Gloria Mullet of Mt. Pleasant.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Mullet in 1977; his sister, Lois Jean Mullet in 1974; and step-daughter, Justina Marie Sell in 2005.
