Douglas J. Wiggins
June 20,1923-March 2, 2013

Douglas J. Wiggins, age 89, of St. Louis, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. from the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd with Pastor Wayne Shidler officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home.
Douglas was born June 20, 1923 in Orlens to Myron and Frannie (Devault) Wiggins. He married Ruth Wheeler November 8, 1994. He served in the US Army during World War Two. Douglas retired from truck driving at the age of 74.
Survived by his wife, Ruth; eight children, Douglas E. (Burma) Wiggins of Stanton, Jan Hodge of Stanton, Shirley (Jessie Gallejos) Townsend of Stanton, Loretta (Donald) Forist of Gowen, Dwight Wiggins of Stranton, Richard (Donna) Wiggins of Alma, Karen (Mitchell) of Stanton, Lonny (Robin) Wiggins of Straton; numerous granchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by two infant children, Roger D. and Rose Marie and one brother and three sisters; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Wiggins and two sons-in-laws, Robert Hodge and Albert Fare.
