Joanne A. Munderloh, age 70, of Elwell, passed away in her husband's arms Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Masonic Pathways, Alma.
Joanne was born, February 16, 1942 in Alma the daughter of Henry "Pete" and Winifred (Chapman) Dailey. She graduated from Alma High School, the class of 1960. After graduation she was employed with Consumers Power Company of Alma. On June 9, 1962, she married her high school sweetheart, Jerry R. Munderloh at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Louis. She was her husband's treasure for over 50 years. Joanne's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were a great joy to her, enriching her life greatly. Her memory will last an eternity.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry of Elwell; daughter, Melissa Munderloh of Elwell; son, Brett (Abigail) Munderloh of Alma; grandchildren, Ashley (Mark) Lalone, Ariel and Douglas Hopkins, Gabriel, Alexander and Mya Munderloh and great grandchildren, Jade Jo and Mason; also a brother, Hank Dailey of Carp Lake.
Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; and infant granddaughter, Sydney Munderloh.
Funeral Services for Joanne will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma with Pastor Wayne Shidler officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pritchard Cemetery.
