Lois E. Cotsman, 88, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at her home.
Funeral Services for Lois will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, October 17, at 11 a.m. with Rev. George Showers officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 16, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the

Lois was born on February 18, 1924, in Leaton, MI, the daughter of Floyd and Eva (Wiggins) Ludwig. She married John Cotsman on November 27, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant. Lois was a homemaker for most of her life, but had also worked at the Ace Hardware and Ludwig's Grocery and Gas. She was a volunteer with the VFW Auxiliary. Lois enjoyed feeding the birds, taking care of her flower gardens and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her children, Gary (Sharry) Cotsman of Mt. Pleasant and Connie (Jim) Jennings of Evart; four grandchildren, Jason Cotsman, Kristi Garrett, Pete Jennings, Lisa Borodychuk; and two great grandchildren, Summer Cotsman and Olivia Borodychuk; and sister Alice Lumbert of Mt. Pleasant.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband John and sister Joyce Stovak.
