Patti Dianne (Wetzel) Lent Obituary
Patti Dianne
(Wetzel) Lent
Jan. 25, 1968-Feb. 12, 2013

Patti D. Lent, age 45, of Sumner, died suddenly Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at her home in New Haven Township.
Patti was born January 25, 1968, in Carson City, the daughter of David E. and Sheila F. (Willert) Wetzel. She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1986, and married Jack Lent in Ithaca on October 10, 1992.
Patti's favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, and she loved everything patriotic, especially fireworks. She was a big fan of the 80's hairbands, and loved going to concerts of groups like Journey, Motley Crue, Tesla, and Lee Greenwood. She especially looked forward to March Madness and followed the tournaments closely. Her favorite shoes were her Air Jordan's. Her favorite place was Disney World, and she always said "it was the happiest place on Earth." Of all her loves, her biggest priority was her family. Family would take precedence over everything else. She loved taking her children to school every morning, and following all of their activities.
Patti is survived by her husband, Jack; her children, Taylor and Jordan, both at home, and Brian (Samantha) Holmes of of Walker; her grandson, Brady Holmes; her parents, David and Sheila Wetzel of Ithaca; her sister, Staci Couch (Rawleigh Raymond) of Shepherd; her mother-in-law, Christina Lent of Rosebush; her brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff (Tammy) Rings of Clare, Jeff (Sandie) Barden of Marshall NC, and Crystal Lent of Vestavia Hills, AL; her nieces and nephews, Alexandra Couch, Matthew Couch, Lucas Raymond, Eric Lent, Linsey Rings, Jeffery Rings, Matt Lent, Josie Lent, Alexandria Barden, and Nicholas Barden; her aunts and uncles, Sharon (Bill) Henderson, of Pawnee, OK, Helen (Mike) VanGoethem of Linden, and Mike (Stevie) Wetzel of Ithaca. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Joseph Lent.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Edgewood Church of God, with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Interment will be in Eureka Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. Condolences may be left for the family online at
