Peter O. Hubbell, age 71, passed away at his home on Hamlin Lake near Ludington on June 3, 2013. Despite failing health during the past year he rarely complained nor lost his zest for life.
He is survived by his long-time companion, Judith L. Flint of Mt. Pleasant; son, Michael; and spouse, Tami of Southfield; daughter, Lisa Hubbell of Pontiac; three grandchildren, Laura, Cody and Cory; and great grandson, Aiden. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Wanda Hubbell of Harbor Springs (formerly of Petoskey); and older brother, James Hubbell of Bloomfield Twp.
He was preceded in death by parents, George and Margaret Hubbell of Milford; and oldest brother, C. William Hubbell of Petoskey.
Peter was a long-time resident of Oakland Co., retiring in December 2006 from Hubbell, Roth & Clark Consulting Engineers of Bloomfield Hills. He provided 44 years of valued service as a construction surveyor and inspector. He requested his body be donated to the University of Michigan Research Center in Ann Arbor.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 7, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel in Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will begin at Noon with Service following at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
