Obituary Condolences

Raymond J. Joynt, age 85, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Hospice House of Holland.
Raymond served in the United States Navy where he was stationed in the Pacific Theater during World War II. After the war, he opened Ray's Automotive in Mount Pleasant in 1954 where he sold automotive parts with his wife, Martha. In his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, boating, golfing, painting watercolors and woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Joynt and Charles Joynt.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha; children, Bob and Kristin Joynt of Chicago and Mount Pleasant, Barbara and Bob Nagy of Pinckney; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren (and one on the way); siblings, Dorothy Gordon of Mindemoya, Ontario, Helen and Larry Stevens of Tuscon, Arizona, Carol and Dwight Krai of South Beach, Florida, Ruth Ann and Jon Wefald of Manhattan, Kansas.
