Rosemary Mogg, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at her home.
Funeral Services for Rosemary will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Saltee officiating. Interment will follow in Chippewa Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, and from 10 a.m. until the time of Service on Friday, July 26, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Rosemary was born on February 23, 1942, in Detroit, the daughter of Philip Stephen and Gertrude Pauline (Hughes) Selman. She married Randall Mogg on September 8, 2006. Rosemary worked as a sales clerk for the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the VFW Post 3033 Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and working on arts and crafts. She loved her cat "Kitty Boots."
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Randall R. Mogg of Mt. Pleasant; her children, Michael (Kim) Janis of Florida, Jonthan Janis of Wayland, Denise (Michael) Sotomoyer of Ypsilanti, and Robert (Andrea) Hagstrom of Cottonwood, AZ; her grandchildren, Michael Jr., Sarah, Amanda, Jeffrey, Rachel, Allison, Marissa, Garnett, Owen, and Sophia Rose; brother Phillip Selman, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sisters, Phyllis Brown of TX, Charlotte (Tom) Parisot of Sturgis, Susan Kane of Romeo, and Dolores (Dennis) Barth of Mt. Pleasant; in-laws, Reynold and Norma Mogg of Mt. Pleasant, Ronda (David) McConnell of Shepherd, Rodney (Ellen) Mogg of OK, Robin (Jeff) Krueger of Mt. Pleasant, Rosaline (Jack) Mallery of Mt. Pleasant, and Rockie Mogg of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews."
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles G. Selman; and sisters, Patricia Sessler and Pauline Matthews.
