Tammy Gaertner, 54, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Woodland Hospice.
Funeral Services for Tammy will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Biedenbender officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to H.A.T.S or Woodland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the church.
Tammy was born on May 12, 1958, in Rogers City, the daughter of Franklin and Emmogene (Grulke) Brehmer. She married John Pearsall on November 8, 1997, in Mt. Pleasant. Tammy was self-employed at Gaertner & Howard as a Certified Public Accountant. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. Tammy enjoyed golfing, flower gardening, and traveling. She enjoyed spending time at her home in Florida. She was fond of her cats, dogs, and animals. Tammy loved being with her family, entertaining, and doing things for other people.
Tammy is survived by her husband, John Pearsall of Mt. Pleasant; her children Aaron (Katy) Gaertner of Bay City, Benjamin (Emily) Gaertner of Stafford, VA, Jason Pearsall of Detroit, Adam (Ashley Bigard) Gaertner of Sanford, and Jordan Pearsall of Mt. Pleasant; her parents Franklin and Emmogene Brehmer of Charlevoix; mother-in-law Tomiko Pearsall of Mt. Pleasant; brothers Matthew (Jane) Brehmer of Saline and Frankin "Butch" (Sue) Brehmer of Walled Lake; nieces and nephews; and foreign exchange student son Yoichiro "Yo" Nakamichi of Kobe-shi, Hyogo, Japan.
