Timothy Gene "Tim" Burggraf Obituary
Jan. 18, 1958-July 31, 2012

Timothy "Tim" Gene Burggraf, age 54, of Shepherd, passed away July 31, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family, following a long and courageous battle.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Berry Funeral Home with Mike Lamay officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Twp. Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2012 from 2 to 9 p.m. at the Berry Funeral Home.
Tim was born January 18, 1958 in Mt. Pleasant to Junior and Eileen (David) Burggraf. Tim was married to the love of his life, Shelly (Wadle). They have three children who survive, him along with his wife, Timmy (Melissa) Burggraf of Lake Isabella, Adam (Shanna) Burggraf of Shepherd and Amanda Burggraf of Shepherd; and special grandson, Tyler Burggraf "his little buddy" and two other grandchildren, David and Ryan Torstenson. He is also survived by his mother, Eileen Sharp of Weidman; and his sister, Beth (Steve Wilson) Burggraf of Winn; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Howard and Lorna Wadle; and brother-in-law and good friend, Jeff Wadle of Shepherd; special cousin and friend, Kevin (Marsha) Shattuck of Hillman; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Burggraf.
Tim lived in the Shepherd area his entire life during which time he worked in the oil fields for 30 years. Tim loved his job at B & H. Even during his battle, you could not keep him away from doing his job.
Tim was well traveled and loved spending time with friends and family near the ocean and other tropical locations. His hobbies included camping, horse racing and watching his wife outride. He enjoyed many weekends skiing with family. Tim was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin friend and son. He will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to the Morey Cancer Center at the hospital for all the exceptional care he received during this difficult time.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
