Margarita Antoinette Wyman Obituary
Wyman, Margarita Antoinette “Marge”; age 85; of Lansing, formerly of Clare; passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2014; at her home. She was born the daughter of Chris and Mary (Vande Kerkhoff) Van Bragt on January 9, 1929, in Holland, Michigan. She married Bernard Lewis Wyman on June 24, 1950 in Holland, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1987. She moved to Lansing from Clare in 1991. Marge enjoyed knitting, playing golf, painting, and being with her family. Survivors include: her children, Marcy Ann De Laere of Traverse City, Michael (Dale) Wyman of Haslett, John Patrick Wyman of Lansing, and Thomas J. (Julie) Wyman of Bay City, eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her sister, Antoinette W. Mackay, and brother, Robert (Ardelle) Van Bragt. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her sister and brother-in-law, Marie T. (James) Ryan. A Scripture Service will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. from the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the St. Cecilia Cemetery in Clare.
