Al Arens, age 73, of Alma, has completed and fulfilled his mission in life. He was transformed into the next phase of being on October 6, 2013.
He was the husband of Alberta for 48 years; father of Steven Mark, Denise Michele, Leija Sun; father-in-law of Kellie Gibson Arens, Eric Wolfe and Joe Wale; grandfather to Madison and T.J. Arens, Jack, Dean and Minna Wolfe and Lauren and Carson Wale.
Al graduated from
Institute of Technology (now Kettering University) with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. He worked for General Motors, Federal Pacific Electric and Medler Electric before founding and operating Life-Enhancing Programs, LLC. He was committed to life long learning, an avid reader and promoter of integrity and self-esteem.
Memorial Service is planned for October 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Church of God, 200 W. Superior St. Alma, Michigan.
