LOVE, FLOYD L.; age 92; of Mt. Pleasant; passed away Friday, October 24, 2014; at his home with his family by his side under Heartland Hospice Care. Funeral Services for Floyd will be held at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Selvidge and Pastor Gene Haymaker officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel. Floyd was born on October 7, 1922, in Alpena, the son of Robert and Bertha (Loucke) Love. He proudly served his country during W. W. II in the United States Army. Floyd married Bonnie Wescoat in 1946 in Gaylord. He worked for Skelgas for over 27 years, retiring in 1977. Floyd faithfully served his Lord for 60 years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and working in his yard. Floyd is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bonnie; children, David (Elaine) Love of Mt. Pleasant, Harry (Kay) Love, Robert (Julie) Love, both of Shepherd, and Luann (Ken) Gillespie of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Florence (Holland) Dickey of Carthage, TX. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
