Doris Duggan

1928 - 2017

Duggan, Doris E. Of Charlotte, MI; fomerly of Gratiot County; age 89; passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Duggan was born February 17, 1928 in Cole Township of Isabella County, near Shepherd, MI the daughter of Lewis and Edna (Owen) Studer. She had been a Charlotte resident for about 10 years. She was a retired Dietician having worked in a hospital in Baldwin Park, California. She was currently a member of the First Lutheran Church of Charlotte and was a member of Gleaners. For many years she was a competitive Ball Room Dancer and enjoyed playing Euchre and many other card games. She is survived by her daughter Sharon L. (Marshall) Munson of Howell, MI; five granchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents; her husband James Duggan; sons, Larry Duggan and Michael Duggan; and five siblings. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 25, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church, 550 E. Shepherd St., Charlotte, MI 48813 with Pastor Timothy Olson officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Memorial Service at the Church. memorial Contributions may go to the First Lutheran Church.
