Taylor, Gloria Allemand  
Gloria Allemand Taylor passed away on May 22, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles H. Taylor. Mother of Keith Taylor (Roxanne) and Sherry Taylor Soulant (Kenneth). Grandmother of Kelsey and Kyle Soulant. Sister of the late Raymond Allemand. Daughter of the late Ailie Savoie Allemand and Alces Allemand. Also survived by her friend and caregiver, Glendora Riley along with loving family members and friends. She spent much of her time raising her family but worked at Celotex in Westwego during the war years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Joyce Marie McCollum Favaroth Taylor, a graduate of Southern University and A.M College of Baton Rouge, LA where she received her Masters of Arts in Education, departed this life on Monday, May 16, 2016 at the age of 68; Former wife of Henry Favaroth, Jr. and the late Michael Taylor; Devoted mother of Shonda O'Kema and Gabriel (Chanel) Favaroth, Michelle and Michael Taylor; Sister of Ruby (late Darrell) Butler, Betty, Ann, John, Jr. (Marsha), Howard and Leonard McCollum and the late Paulette Fleming (Ted) Edwards and Edward (Vivian) McCollum; Grandmother of Alayciea, Nolan and Khade'Ja Favaroth, Raynea Warren-Ajayi (BJ), Ryeisha Warren and Dominique Favaroth-Robinson (Elijah); Great-grandmother of Jamaiah, Mikierra and Nevae'h Taylor, Carlie Thomas, Nilah' Favaroth, Kayode Jeremiah Ajayi and Erioluwa Melania Ajayi. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Testa, Rosemary Uddo  
Rosemary Uddo Testa, age 93, died peacefully at home in New Orleans on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Michael Angelo Testa of Campobasso, Italy, and her parents, Angelina Nastasi Uddo and Frank Uddo of Sicily. She was a devoted mother to her daughters Angela Testa Koenig, Jo-Ann Testa-Hebert (Jim), Rosalie Testa Fitzmorris (Dennis) and Linda Testa Tartaglia (Angelo) and a beloved grandmother of Michael Koenig, Christine Koenig Leatherman (Matthew), Kevin Fitzmorris (Melanie), Todd Fitzmorris (Holly), Allegra Tartaglia and Antonio Tartaglia. She is also survived by 1 great-grandson, Andrew Fitzmorris, her sister, Nancy Uddo Ranatza, 5 step grandchildren and 16 step great-grandchildren. Anyone who truly knew Rosemary (Rose) will never forget her extraordinary dedication to attending daily Mass. She will also be remembered for her special devotion to the Rosary, the Missionaries of St. Therese, Lay Carmelites and Padro Pio. Rose was a wonderful Italian cook, who loved entertaining family and friends for Sunday dinners and swimming afterwards. She worked tirelessly for the annual St. Joseph Altars, baking cookies and other Italian specialties. When Rose wasn't working for others, she loved traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe. Rose was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rosalee Mary Testa, and her brothers, Salvadore Uddo and Joseph Uddo. Relatives and friends are invited Wednesday, June 1, for visitation beginning at 10 AM at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 775 Harrison Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon, followed by Internment at Lake Lawn Metairie. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ursuline Academy, 2635 State St., New Orleans, La. 70118 or to the Missionaries of St. Therese, in care of St. Dominic's Church.

Tillman Jr. , Ivan Allen  
Ivan Allen Tillman Jr. passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. Loving father of Chase Tillman of Denver, Co and Brooke Simms (husband, Chris) of Tampa, FL. Grandfather of Olivia Simms. Son of Helen Sue Tillman and the late Ivan Tillman, Sr. Brother of Karen Phelps, Dean Tillman, and the late Sandy Monk. Ivan's passions were spending time with his children and grandchild, spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, and his work as a senior designer in the engineering industry. Kenneth Elmer Tomlinson, 80, of Metairie, LA, passed away on May 18 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmers ""Buddy"" Tomlinson and Ruby Pennington Tomlinson, daughter in-law, Sandy Tomlinson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth S. Tomlinson; children, Ken Tomlinson, Jr., Paul Douglas Tomlinson, Michael Tomlinson, Sharon Glancy (Ronnie), Rickie Sue Korndorffer, Scott Korndorffer (Danielle), Kelly Korndorffer, Adam Korndorffer (Heather), grandchildren, Ken D. Tomlinson, Kris Tomlinson (Becky), David Tomlinson, Sean Tomlinson, Tyler Alford, Tristan Alford, Elle and Olivia Korndorffer; great-grandchild, Anna Ruth Tomlinson. Kenny was an avid square dancer and loved doing karaoke known by his stage name of Kenny and the Wildman. He had a passion for constructing buildings. Lillian "Honey" Rindel Treadaway, age 86 of Covington, LA passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington, LA. She was born on Sunday, October 06, 1929 to Louis Rindel and Evelyn Rindel. She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace Ray Treadaway, Sr. She is survived by her Sons - Wallace Ray Treadaway, Jr. (Penny), Eric John Treadaway (Beth), and Kevin Scott Treadaway (Pam), Grandchildren - Victoria, Alexandra, Ashley, Nathan, Sarah, and Christian Treadaway, and Sister - Shirley R. Magee (Harold). Honey was preceded in death by her Husband, Son - Byron Louis Treadaway, Parents, and Sisters - Amelia Terrebonne, and Edna R. Hughes. Honey was a former resident of the Westbank Area of New Orleans and resident of Covington for close to 20 years. Lorenzo Sr. by second marriage and Jessie Dewey Tullos by first marriage. Loving mother of Joseph Coleman Tullos (Cathy), Gene Raymond Tullos (Wanda), Joseph Raymond Lorenzo (Sandra) and the late Dean Marcus Tullos and Anita Carol Tullos. Devoted grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Joseph, Sara, Mary, Keith, Marc, Tammy, Gene, Bradley, Jason, Joelle, Elizabeth and 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Missionary Dorothy Lee Turner-Victor passed away on Friday, May 20th, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Thomas P. Aubrey and Julia Miller, her husband Supt. Johnnie Carl Victor, Jr, her brothers Daniel and Malcom Miller, and her son Larry Williams. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Marilyn McCloud, Sabrina Moore, Veronica Smith, Samantha Miller, Felicia Diggs, Johnetta Haywood, Johnnie Mae Ricard, Javetta Victor, and her son Gregory Williams, 35 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as a host of relatives and friends.
