Arseneaux Jr., Arthur Andrew  
Arthur Andrew Arseneaux, Jr. peacefully passed from his earthly body to enter eternity with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the age of 73. He was born in New Orleans on January 5, 1942 and moved to Slidell in 1967. He served in the U.S. Navy before working at American Standard and then Lockheed Martin Marietta. He gave his heart to the Lord and became a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur P. and Anna B. Arseneaux. He was the cherished husband of Lucille B. Arseneaux. Beloved father of Arthur A. Arseneaux, III. (Denise), John P. Arseneaux (Kathy), and Joanna A. Sperandeo (Mario). Grandfather of Omar B. Ictech II (Danica), Taylor M. Arseneaux (Josh), Ian A. Arseneaux, Johnathon T. Arseneaux, Miguel R. Sperandeo, and Billy Hughes (Arielle). Great grandfather of Lilah Marie Ictech. His bonus children are Christina Wall (Roland), Jude LeBlanc (Charity), Maria Strother (Shayne), and Noelle Addlesberger (Joseph). Grandchildren, Peter Tortorich, Kristin Tortorich, Jonathan LeBlanc, Jeanne' LeBlanc, Miranda O'Brian, Arielle O'Brian, Elise Strother, Thomas Strother, Lucille Minton, and Tara Leger. Great grandchildren, Shawn Rogers, Jaden Rogers, Alex May Jr., Lily O'Brian, Aiden Strother and Emalee Minton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA. on Saturday, May 30, 2015. at 1:00 pm. Visitation at church from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, (Covington) LA. Bouterie, Elvira Bachemin  
On Thursday, March 26, 2015, the Lord called upon Elvira Bachemin Bouterie to take her place among the Angels in Heaven at the young age of 100. She was a native of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of St. Tammany Parish since Hurricane Katrina. Elvira was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lily Baum Bachemin; her husband, Edward Bouterie, Sr.; her son, Edward Bouterie, Jr.; her grandsons, Sydney Waksman and Danny Bouterie. Elvira "Granny" is survived by her grandsons, Larry and Wayne Bouterie; and her granddaughter, Connie Beaujeaux. Also survived by her great grandchildren, Ian Hano, Angela and Jonathan Bouterie, Amanda Poissant, Brian and Heather Beaujeaux and several great great grandchildren. Elvira, also known as "Sis", had many friends especially Barbara Thibodeaux and her family. She was a person who doted her life with love and compassion. She will forever be loved and missed. Brawders, R. Michael  
R. Michael Brawders passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015, at his home in Folsom, La., with his wife Carmen Brawders by his side. Mike was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on October 5, 1951, to Virginia Brawders and the late Richard M. Brawders Sr. Mike is survived by his wife Carmen Brawders, son Casey Patrick, wife Jennifer and 3 beautiful grandchildren, Brendan, Brody and Evan Kate. His mother Virginia Brawders of Chadds Ford, PA, and his sister Sandy Brawders residing in California. Mike graduated from the University of Delaware. He retired from the DuPont Company in November 2011. Mike loved his family and friends and enjoyed golf, making fly rods, and tying fresh water flies. He also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and sunset. Mildred Lucille Beard Brewer passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 78. A native of Washington Parish and a resident of Destrehan. Beloved wife of the late David Leroy Brewer. Mother of David Lee Brewer. Daughter of the late Gracie Walker Beard and Malcus W. Beard. Brooks Sr., Mitchell "Paw Paw"  
Mitchell "Paw Paw" Brooks, Sr. entered into the Pearly Gates of Heaven on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the age of 79. A native of New Orleans, LA. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Lois Brooks; his daughter, Gloria Brooks; two sons, Lamont and Mitchell Brooks, Jr; step daughter, Melva Pepp; step sons, Melvin, Marvin and Shawn Pepp; two sisters; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Louisa Street Church of Christ, 3644 Louisa St., NOLA for 11:00 am, Minister Bro. Preston S. Olive, officiating. Brown, Harwood Ignatius  
Harwood Ignatius Brown, born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 31, 1917 to the late John Louis and Clara Bomati Brown, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the age of 97. He was preceded in death by Constance Kleinschmidt Brown, his loving wife of 53 years. Mr. Brown is survived by his children: Janice B. Carbon, Constance M. Brown, and Sherryl B. Freche; his grandchildren: Stephanie Carbon de la Houssaye (Lee), Courtney Carbon Garrett (Philip) and Joshua A. Freche; and great grandchildren: Maxwell and Charles de la Houssaye, and Jack, Oliver, and Ellie Garrett. Mr. Brown graduated from Warren Easton High School in 1933. He was honored by the school in 2014 with its "Distinguished Alumnus Award", an honor of which he was very proud. He earned his engineering degree and MBA from Tulane University. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army Corps of Engineers in both the European and Pacific fronts. In addition to running his engineering consulting business, Mr. Brown held a teaching position at Delgado Community College where he taught Economics and Business Law for many years. Our family is truly grateful for the love and care our father received from the staff at St. Luke's Living Center. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 11:00 AM. Caillier, Clara Bovia  
Clara Bovia Caillier went to be with her Lord and her eldest son, Louis J. Caillier, III on Monday, May 18, 2015 at the age of 77. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Louis J. Caillier, Jr.; her daughter, Sharon Caillier Bankston and her son, Michael J. Caillier. She will also be missed by her grandchildren who loved her dearly: Bryan Caillier, Katlyn Bankston, Christopher Caillier and Rylie Caillier. Levie Babin Chauvin, beloved wife of the late Donald Joseph Chauvin, mother of Elizabeth Chauvin Perrin, grandmother of Ryan Lee Perrin. Daughter of the late Louis and Leah Babin. Sister of the late Cleveland Babin. Survived by one sister Barbara Babin Charpentier and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chauvin passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Canon Hospice Elmwood. She was 87 years old. She was born in Houma, LA and lived in Jefferson Parish for sixty-seven years.
