Deion Duke "Spanky" Robair

Deion "Spanky" Duke Robair, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the age of 16. Deion was a student at George Washington Carver Collegiate Academy, where he was a member of the football team. He was baptized at Greater New Life Church. Spanky leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother April Robair; grandparents Shirley and Oliver "Duke" Ducre, sister Katrina Robair, aunt Trina Robair, uncle Alphonse "Dowee" Robair, cousins Dylan, Dawanda, Tyrec, Diamond, Payton, Lil Weesie, Slim, Veronica, Danielle, Nichole, Jason, Maurice, Quintel and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sister Raquel Robair, grandparents Alvin Robair Sr., and Mamie Robair, uncles Junius " Puggy", and Alvin Robair, aunt Doris Smith and a cousin Ernest Smith. Relatives and friends of the family, staff and students of Drew and G. W. Carver Collegiate Academy are all invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday March 26 in the Chapel of the Roses of Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home 1615 St. Philip Street 4-6 pm; and the homegoing celebration on Thursday March 27, at 10:00 am Mt. Everest Baptist Church 2837 First Street New Orleans, La, Rev. Thomas Glover Sr. host pastor, Rev. James Hunter officiating. Interment is in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9:00 am, in the Church.
