You were a fun loving "people person" with a beautiful photographic eye. A native son who captured the essence and spirit of New Orleans and her people through your sharply focused lens. The city has lost a treasure with your passing. But, your legacy will live on in the rich cultural experiences you share in photos for generations to come.
Deepest sympathy to Cheron and the Baquet family.

Eddie & I were deeply saddened to learn of Harold's passing. We send our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, Cheron & family. You fought a good fight & are an inspiration to many. All who loved you will miss your earthly presence, but should find comfort knowing you are in Paradise, healed according to his word. I know you are rejoicing with your loved ones that passed before you. Until you meet again in His Heavenly Kingdom, may the many years you had together & your fond memories sustain you during this very difficult time.

Baquet Family: May God give you the strength and confidence to know that Harold is in a better place. His passing may leave a void in your lives but his memories will live on for a lifetime. I had the pleasure of knowing him for many years - he took my wedding photos in 1982 and later worked with him at Loyola. He always had that wonderful smile and a kind word.

as someone involved with the opening of Our Lady of Good Council church, the church Harold was so passionate about I'm so sorry to learn of his passing. I was so looking forward to working with him. I feel he would have been a valuable asset in making the old community of faith at OLGC work with the Community of faith coming there from the Center of Jesus the Lord. May Our Lord take you to himself and give you greater joy than you spread here on earth. Deacon Rod Fonseca

No time on earth is long enough to share with
those we love or to prepare our hearts for good-bye.
Our sympathy and warmest thoughts are with you now.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
RIP HFB! RIP!!
Peace, prayers and blessings.
