Still doesn't feel real, don't know if it ever will. Some random man came up to me in the mall today and asked me if I worked in the medical field; turns out he worked at EJ and we started talking about you. He asked how you were doing and I said that you passed away, he gave his condolences and walked away. Didn't like saying those words, it hurt too much.
Tu familia te extraña. Your family misses you.

Hermano a week ago you left us and every day I miss you and sometimes I have the impulse of picking up the phone and call you as I used to do for years at 7:30am on my way to work or at 10:00am. It is hard to know you are not here with us anymore but deep in my heart I know you are in a better place where ther is no more pain, treatments, needles, pills. You are in a beautiful place and I know you can see us suffering but do not worry because the Lord will give us the peace we need. You will alway live in our hearts because you are a part who we are. I love you Oskar and alway will. Do not worry about Tanea, we will take care of her and try to confort her during this time of sorrow. As I told you before, I will not say "good bye" I will say, "I will see you later pelon" because one day we all be together in that woderful place you are enjoying now. Te amo hermanito!

Oskar was the only person after Katrina to come to my house and install heating and air condition. I am forever grateful for that. Oskar will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Prayers for him and his family.

Oskar and family, , I am so very sorry that I did not find out about your passing until late this afternoon or I would have come to pay my respects. God took you way to earlier my friend, but I guess he needed a catcher for his softball team. Great memories playing softball with you for the Cubs. Your smile will be missed, my friend.

My husband played softball on Sundays with Oskar for many years and I can still hear him saying "two down and one to go." What a lost to all who knew him. May God be with your family at this time of sorrow.

Dear Family and Friends,
I am so sorry for your loss, my condolences to you.
Oskar is to me and my girls not just a friend, he is one who went above and beyond friendship, who was there for me through good times, sad times, hard times and all of the above. I am honored to have shared various deep personal matters with Oskar; God blessed us by providing us the ability to just listen to each other.
I will miss Oskar dearly; yet he is alive in my heart as I cherish and safe keep the wonderful times we shared. I keep with me, memories of softball games, dinners, BBQ's, boils, New Year's parties, and most important to me the various deep personal conversations we had…
Oskar is blessed to have a great family, a great mother, great children, and a great wife, he is very proud of YOU.
I will miss you dearly my friend, you will forever live in my heart.
