Adele Faget Pitard passed away on January 21, 2014. Adele was the purest, most innocent, happiest, sweetest angel on earth, always a smile on her face and was appreciative of everyone and everything. Adele was a resident of Magnolia School for 30 years. An avid athlete, she won numerous awards in the Special Olympics, especially in Swimming. She loved bowling, fishing, sailing, dancing, attending musical plays, movies and Mardi Gras! She is predeceased by her parents: Dr. Shelby J. Faget and Robert J. Pitard; her sister, Hon. Michaelle Pitard Wynne. She is survived by her siblings: Andree Faget Pitard, Dr. Edward Faget Pitard, Robert "Chuck" F. Pitard and her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to awesome friends, the incredible staff at Magnolia School and her dearest friends, Heidi Junius and Tiffany Picus Junius. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday January 25 at 1:45pm in the chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:30am and continue until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Magnolia School at 100 Central Ave. Jefferson, La. 70121.
