Brent Murphy McDowell, son of the late Murphy J. Myers III, and Diana Lynnwoods, was born on August 23, 1977, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is survived by his fiancée, Melissa Branch of Alexandria; son, Ranee Reed of New Orleans; daughter, A'mani B. McDowell of Leesville; brothers, Murphy (Cedricka)Sartain, Bruce McDowell, Derlin McDowell & Douglas (Tanisha) Woods all of New Orleans and Shawn McDowell of Leesville and his grandmother, Antoinette Peck of New Orleans. Relatives, friends, pastor, officers and members of Next Generation of Original Morning Star Full Gospel Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Next Generation of Original Morning Star Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3536 Saint Ferdinand Street beginning 10am.
