Brian Kent Rodrigue

Brian Kent Rodrigue entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 15, 2016. He was the son of Brian Pratto and the late Melvilena Jefferson; and Edwin Brumfield Sr. and the late Paula Brumfield. Grandson of Betty London Francis (Bob) and the late Calvin Rodrigue Sr.; Father of Brian, Oryan, Zyron Jemison and Tyron Rodrigue. Brother of Bobbie Lambert, Jo-von Brumfield Sr. and the late Edwin Brumfield Jr.; sisters Jamell Thomas (Joe), and Nicole Brumfield. Companion of Francis Jemison. Brian graduated from West Jefferson High School. He was employed by McDonald's and Taco Bell. He was baptized at age 5 by the Rev. Oris Marshall of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of Life Center Cathedral under the leadership of Bishop JD Wiley-Taylor. Relatives, friends of the family, members of St. Joseph Baptist church, Life Center Cathedral, McDonald's and Jefferson Parish Water Dept. are invited to a home going celebration August 27, at St. Joseph Baptist Church, 241 Robinson Ave., Marrero, La. Services begin at 10 A.M. with the visitation beginning at 8:30 A.M. The officiating minister will be Melvin Zeno. Interment will be private. Professional services entrusted to Murray Henderson Funeral Home.
