Harry Abraham Burglass, age 83, passed away peacefully from heart failure October 30, 2013. A native of New Orleans where he practiced law for 45 years and a resident of Diamond Head, MS after retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Mullen Burglass and Ethel Mary Condick Burglass, two brothers, Cecil and Bruce Burglass, his sister, Pat Gohres and his daughter, Brenda Burglass. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Burglass, his children, Andy Burglass (Nancy), Harry Burglass, Jr. (Eugenie) and Beth Burglass Frey, his stepchildren Tracy, Lori and Holly. Grandchildren, Jamie, Andrew, Summer, Patrick and Stephen Burglass, Justin and Yvonne Frey. Harry was a graduate of Isadore Newman School, Tulane University and Tulane Law School. He loved sports and in high school and college participated in football and golf. His passion was horse racing and he was thrilled to have been a race horse owner. Harry never met a stranger and was loved and will be dearly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
